DONE, DONE, AND DONE!!!!!
Well it's Thursday night and I'm finally able to sit down for a few minutes to update this week. Well my last week goals were a success, some what. My Husband did the Carpet cleaning for me and then I finally got to the kids Bathroom Sunday morning, before church. Like I said in my last post, "Husbands can help with your goals!" They are capable, even if they act like they're not. I do give my Hubby lots of credit. He is so good to help around the house and do his share. I always tell people that he is a better cleaner then I am, and that my friends is absolutly TRUE. He's the deep cleaner around here, while I'm satisfied most days with the "Picking up".
That is probably why I needed this Blog! He is the Provider in our house and I should and do have the time to make our house "livable." Plus I don't want to hear the dreaded words, "Well I work all day!" I have heard it plenty of times and you would think he would learn his lesson, but No! I know he doesn't do it to be mean, but it still hurts my feelings and I still get angry.
This weeks cleaning Goals:
To be honest, I don't have any this week. My week has been busy, plus My little girls birthday was Monday and so I was able to get all the kids bedrooms cleaned and Vaccumed. (Not that they look that way now, but they looked Good Monday) I have had kids here most of the week, except today. SO I was able to get my kitchen swept and mopped. I made my kids pick up all the toys and other crap on the floor this morning, so the downstairs doesn't look that bad right now either. I do have to bake a lot tomorrow and fold my laundry. (Okay, I will probably not get to my laundry until Sunday, unless I can get my kids to fold them.) The Laundry is a never ending job, so if you have 20 loads, then make that as your goal for the week and then treat yourself to some Ice Cream.
Exercise Goal:
Well, The last couple of weeks have not been as good as I would like, but I'm not going to get discouraged. I have been lucky to get 20 min most days. I need to do at least an hour, but sometimes life is crazy and so if 20 min is all you can do, then it's so much better then doing "Nothing!" I have tried to add weights to my Turbo Jam workout, so I'm hoping that will help a little.
I have to just really try not to fall off the wagon this weekend at my Family reunion. I know there will be so many Yummy Foods and I know me and my self control, which is not much. We will be doing a lot of physical activities, like roller skating, paddle boating, kayacking and the old games like: Annie-I-Over, Red Light, Green Light, Hide-N-Seek, etc. I will be participating in all these, so maybe all the eating won't be so bad. I am so excited for this reunion! It is going to take us back to all the good times we had when we were kids. I really did have a fun childhood. I wish I would have appreciated it a little more. We practically lived at my Grandparents house most the summer. We played games, climbed the hay in the barn, played down in the slough, Splashed in the irrigation water when it was my grandpa's turn. Those were the "good old days" I just hope I can make those same memories for my kids and then they can some day blog about "Those good old days!"
Advice:
Don't ever feel bad about falling off the wagon around the holidays or around fun celebrations. If you can, eat extra good the other days and then go and just have a good time eating and catching up with the people you love. Or just do a lot of exercising that week.
I will try to have better goals next week. I have already started thinking about the ones that need to get done. Good Luck and Keep setting those Realistic goals!!!
